What Is Statle?

Statle is a free puzzle game online where you are tested on your knowledge of Pokémon stats. Players are tasked with assigning the best stat (HP, ATK, DEF, SP).

So The Goal? Maximize your total Base Stat Total (BST). Scoring 600 points in a game is considered a "gold medal", and is the mark of a great player. The simple UI and complex strategy has made Statle go viral especially on TikTok and YouTube Shorts with the trending “600 BST Challenge.”

How to Play Statle

Statle gameplay is simple to understand, but hard to perfect:

• You see six random Pokémon.
• For each, you have to pick a single stat that you think it’s best at.
• In each round, you can use each type of stat only once.
• Click ‘Next’ after you have chosen a category.
• Your overall score is computed on how close your picks were to each Pokémon’s unique strengths.

The game also has a Gen filter (1–9) to filter out Pokémon generations if you know too much or too little. For non-stop challenge playing, the Endless mode will allow you to play endlessly, and for competing with the rest of the world offerings a shared challenge, there will be Daily mode.

Pro Tips to Score 600 BST in Statle

Statle isn’t just luck — to win you need to be able to read a board that constantly shifts and make calculated moves to out-think your opponent:

• Steel and Rock types dominate defence (e.g. Steelix, Aggron).
• Psychic and Ghost Pokémon tend to be high in Special Attack (such as Alakazam or Gengar).
• Electric and Flying are also commonly fast type, as shown by Jolteon, Ninjask).
• Popular high HP picks such as Chansey, Blissey and Snorlax are great for HP picks as well.

Legendary Pokemon usually have incredible stats, save important stats like SP.ATK or ATK for them. You need to look ahead because you are only allowed to use each stat once. Smart spending is the difference between a middling score and a perfect run.
