About Pokemon Gamma Emerald

In Pokemon Gamma Emerald, you are a main character and your mission is to explore different places as you look for wild Pokemon which are scattered in the map. These Pokemon will usually spawn near to red locations, and it will bring your closer to sites were you can engage with wild Pokemon. In each place you visit, your mission is to capture the Pokémon in Pokéballs and complete your Pokédex bit by bit.

Progression in Pokémon Gamma Emerald is measured in collection size. To progress you have to catch a certain amount of Pokémon. Achieving these goals will open up new locations, new, stronger levels and even rarer Pokémon species. This promotes gameplay to stay productive and keeps the players continue to explore every inch of the map.

Mastering the Controls: Command System

Pokémon Gamma Emerald has a natural control layout for browser and mobile game plays. Players move the main character by tapping or holding in the direction they wish to go, and the exploration is natural and effortless. Now when you are ready to catch Pokémon, just drag to try to aim with the Pokéball and throw, release to throw!

Targeting Pokémon is switch-based, with the angle and power determined by a flick of the fingers. Although controls may differ slightly from device to device, this one is as beginner-friendly as they come for any players who haven’t tried any Pokémon-style games before.

Game Mechanics: The Basics

In Pokémon Gamma Emerald, wild Pokémon encounters occur upon guiding your character to the red markers locations on the map. Once that happens, pokemon spawn on screen and move randomly, somewhat like a timing/skill based mini-game during the capture.

You have to shoot carefully and time your shots well to catch pokemon. A good throw with a Pokéball sends the Pokémon right into your collection, which can help you satisfy level requirements more quickly. Advancement in levels is tied to a capture quota, and each new level offers you more Pokémon to catch, making your team-building decisions and exploration all the more intriguing.
