Five Nights At Epstein's
Age Of War is the 1v1 side-scrolling strategy game that has been entertaining millions of browser gamers around the world for years. Your job in this game in which two civilizations are on two different ends of a battle field is straightforward but difficult: Destroy your enemies base as quickly as possible while defending your own.
What makes Age Of War so special is its evolutionary progression system. You start in the Stone Age with primitive units and earn experience [XP] in combat that allows you to advance through more modern periods. Stronger units, more powerful turrets, and devastating special attacks become available with each evolution. And that combination of real-time fighting, tower defense, and RPG-style progression means that Age of War online is a cinch for casual gamers to pick up, but hard for strategy players to put down.
There are five different ages in the game:
As you progress from age to age, the gameplay feels different and each new era brings a twist to the game play, so you never get bored.
Age Of War is more about intelligent play and knowing when to play. When you defeat enemy units you get gold, with which you can train soldiers or build defensive turrets. Meanwhile, you receive XP, which allows you to advance to the next age.
The units march unopposed towards the enemy base, but what you deploy and when determines how easy or difficult this is. The decisions on whether you want to go for melee or ranged units, invest in defense or when to evolve are what determines your success. Although the action takes place in real time, the strategy behind the moves will determine which side wins the war.
Strategizing rather than spamming units is what will lead you to victory in Age Of War.
Age Of War employs simple mouse-based controls. You press to train units, build turrets, evolve ages, and use special attacks. Some also allow the use of hotkeys to quickly deploy. This game’s controls are simple to grasp so you can enjoy a game during a quick break, yet withople for a bit of strategic depth.
